Throughout the years in the service department, we have noticed different problems that costumers experience with their RC. We have always been on the look-out for the best RC and have also been working with our developing team for the best software to work with the RC.
Some of the most common problems that we have heard from costumers are: Short range for RC functionality, jumpy robot, the robot moves on its own when the RC is on or there are no functions working on the robot (for a detailed troubleshooting guide for problems you may be having with you robot please click

Robotronic's current RC and software is designed to eliminate all of these problems. Listed to the right you will see RCs that you can purchase for replacement or upgrade. Listed below you will see previous RCs with information on what RC you should upgrade to. Hi-Tec
The Hi-Tec is our current model of RC. We have found this RC to have great functionality, great range and is very durable and reliable. This RC also has the best and most current software for our robots. If you are experiencing problems with your RC (and have version 4 or above) we recommend that you upgrade to this RC.

Futaba F-14
This RC has very good range and is very durable and reliable. It is most compliant with earlier models of RCs. We recommend you to upgrade to this RC if you have a version 1 or 2 robot. We do not buy a constant supply of the F-14 RCs. If you wish to upgrade to this RC, you should call us first and make sure we still have this RC in Stock.

Robotronics FMA MRCR-16 or Polk
We used this RC for a short time (about 2002-2004). Although the functionality of this RC is superior to that of previous RCs, we find that our current RC (Hi-Tec) is more reliable. If you have been experiencing problems with this RC, we recommend that you upgrade to the Hi-Tec RC.

Airtronics Vanguard
After the Robbe Terra Top we used this Airtronics RC. Although we used this RC on some of the earlier model of robots (1-4), we mostly used this RC on the more current models (5-6). If you wish to upgrade your Airtronics RC, we recommend that you upgrade it to the Hi-Tec RC.

Robbe Terra Top
This is one of the earliest models of Radio Control units. This was used mainly on robot versions 1-4. If you have this RC and wish to upgrade, we recommend that you upgrade to the Futaba F-14 RC.
