Scruff joins his uncle, McGruff the Crime Dog® as part of the nation-wide 'Take a Bite out of Crime' campaign.
For 10 years, Scruff has been a part of the National Crime Prevention Council's campaign against crime. With millions of dollars of PSAs in billboards, radio and television, Scruff is known to most children throughout the country. Now Scruff will be able to make live appearances with his uncle McGruff to help teach children about safety and crime prevention. The Scruff costume is designed to be worn by someone around 5'4

Sturdy construction. Each costume is quality inspected and built to the highest standards.
- Costume Design
Integrated helmet design has a chinstrap for security and comfort. The paws extend past the elbows for a better fit. Molded plastic head allows for uniform shape and added strength.

- Better Cooling
Improved thermal design allows airflow to follow a natural path up and out to aid in cooling. Air is pulled gently around the face, not blown directly into eyes and nose. It is then pushed out of the costume head by a second fan, which greatly increases airflow.
- Improved Vision
The Scruff costume allows the wearer to see better out of the eyes, nose and the mouth, allowing you to see small children approaching. The eyes are made of durable Plexiglas.
