Here at the Fire Bureau, we use Pluggie as much as possible.  His major personal appearance schedule falls during Fire Prevention Week, and he is solidly booked every year.  The kids really get such a kick out of seeing the robot, and if for some reason Pluggie is resting, and does not make a personal appearance, the kids definitely ask for him and make us promise to come back to visit when he is awake.
