How to Order
|
Ordering Online:
To order online you must have javascript and popups enabled. If you are in
a product page, you can select the text or the picture of a product and it
will come up as a popup. At the bottom of the popup window you can add the
item to your shopping cart. When your are ready to process your order, you
can go to the manage cart page.
All orders will be reviewed before the items are sent. If there are any
questions with your order, you will be notified by phone or email. If you
have any questions with your purchases, you can add questions or notes before
you checkout. All orders will be billed to the address you specify as the
billing address unless you check you would like to pay with credit card, then
you will be notified by phone and we will get your credit card info. You can
also pay with a PO#.

(Sales deals primarily with new robot and costume purchases as well as
ed-mat. Service deals with the purchasing of parts for your existing robot
or costume.)
General Ordering Information
Shipping:
The time it takes our shipping department to ship your order varies
depending upon items ordered. Robots ship in 6-8 weeks. Educational
materials will ship in 10 working days. Custom imprinted materials will
ship in 4-6 weeks. On orders shipping charges are additional. A street
address for shipping must be supplied where delivery can be accepted during
normal business hours. Truck shipments do require a signature. We cannot be
responsible for delays in shipping since we have no control after the
shipment has been given to the carrier. All items are shipped by UPS or
truck unless special arrangements have been made.
Warranty:
All robots and accessories have a limited 180 day warranty which covers all
parts and labor. This period covers the normal burn-in for electronic
components. Experience has shown that this warranty period catches most
component defects and other possible flaws. If you have a problem, we are
anxious to help. Our desire is to be certain that you receive a quality
product at a fair price. Warranty work is specifically limited to
correction of defects by repair or replacement of faulty equipment or
parts.
Payment Terms:
After receiving a completed order form and an approved purchase order,
Robotronics will bill order to towns, district, and government agencies
with payment due 30 days after invoice date. All other organizations
require a completed order form and one half down payment with the balance
due upon delivery of the product(s). For non-government agencies, custom
work, custom robots, or imprinted material will be paid in full, 100
percent, before the start of the work.
Service:
If you experience any difficulties after the purchase of a robot, call our
Service Department. It is important that you call when you are aware of any
problems so that we can solve the matter quickly and have your robot
operating effectively. Most problems you may have can easily be solved over
the phone. We can ship most parts right away in order for you to meet your
show dates. Any air shipments would need to be the responsibility of the

Return Policy:
No merchandise may be returned without written authorization from
Robotronics, Inc. If you are returning a robot or robot part, you will need
to call our Service Department and obtain a return authorization number.
Any problem with education materials, puppets, and magic must be brought to
our attention within 10 working days. There are no returns on magic items;
however, we will repair or replace defective items. We value our customer's
business: On the basis of honesty and integrity, we have given personal
attention to the manufacturing of every robot, puppet and educational
material. Because we are committed to your satisfaction, you are guaranteed
a high quality product that will last for years to come.
Educational Materials
Ordering Information
When ordering Educational Materials, please specify the item name, item
number, color, and item description.
Minimum Orders:
There is a $10 minimum on all orders.
Samples:
We will be pleased to send a sample of any of our educational materials for
your inspection and consideration.
Price:
Prices are per piece based upon quantity ordered. Prices are subject to
change without notice.
Production Time:
Custom imprinted materials take approximately 4 weeks to fill. These are
production times only. Please allow 4-6 weeks after approval of your proof
to receive your items. Stock items fill in 4-5 days and take approximately
two weeks to deliver.
Over runs & Under runs:
Due to our process on imprinted materials, we reserve the right to ship and
bill up to 10 percent over or under the quantity ordered.
Imprint Color:
Standard imprint color is black. Any color other than black is $10 per
color. More than one color in the imprint adds cost to each coloring book.
Please call our office for prices on two or more color imprints.
Artwork:
Straight line type will be accepted by phone, fax, or mail. Your order will
begin to be processed after the type is approved. Please send camera-ready
artwork for your logo or special imprint with your order. Camera ready art
is any professionally prepared black and white rendering of your artwork.
No photocopies or fax transmissions will be accepted as camera ready.
Art fees:
Art fees for imprinted materials consist of a first time $30 charge for
making printing plate and set up. Future imprints of the same item will be
charged $15. Logos are an additional $20 for first time imprints.
Proofing:
After receipt of your imprint order, we will fax you a mock-up of your
imprint for your approval. Your quick return response will speed up the
printing process. It is your responsibility to check artwork to see that it
is correct.
To Complete Your Order Form
Follow These Simple Steps:

- Enter Bill To information, making sure to include telephone and
fax numbers.
- Fill out Ship To information. For shipping purposes an actual
street address is required. Unfortunately, we do not ship to a post
office box address. It is important to enter a telephone and fax number
for correspondence on custom orders.
- Enter today's date, your P.O. number if you are using one, and the
date you would like to receive your order. Every effort is made to ship
all orders as soon as possible. Enter the item number, description, color
choice, price and other important information on the order form. Subtotal
your items, add shipping and artwork charges if applicable. This is your
total.
- On imprinted orders and license plates you need to enter the
information exactly how you want it to appear on your items.
- Check method of payment. Fill out credit card information
completely. Read the credit policies and sign your name.
